Frequently Asked Questions
What types of conditions do you treat?
I specialize in complex musculoskeletal conditions that often don’t improve with standard physical therapy or chiropractic care. This includes orthopedic injuries, TMJ and jaw pain, neck and back pain, headaches, significant mobility limitations, and inefficient movement patterns that require advanced manual therapy and clinical reasoning.
If you’ve been to PT before without lasting results, my boutique, one-on-one approach may be a better fit.
Do you take insurance?
Yes. In addition to private pay clients, I also offer outpatient physical therapy services through Brunswick Physical Therapy in Cary, NC, where insurance is accepted. Coverage varies by plan, and benefits can be verified prior to care.
What can I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit includes a comprehensive orthopedic and movement evaluation, a clear explanation of what’s driving your symptoms, and treatment during the same session. You will leave with a personalized, evidence-based plan designed specifically for your goals and presentation.
Where do you offer physical therapy services?
I treat clients throughout the greater Raleigh, area including Cary, Apex, Holly Springs and other surrounding towns. I also deliver outpatient physical therapy services at:

Do I need a physician referral to see you?
No. North Carolina allows direct access to physical therapy, so you can schedule an appointment with me without a physician referral.
What makes your physical therapy approach different?
I specialize in advanced manual therapy and movement retraining, built on FAAOMPT fellowship training, board certification, and over 15 years of clinical, research, and teaching experience. I focus on complex and persistent cases that require more detailed assessment and hands-on care than standard protocols can offer.
